Vets-Cars  is an association of auto dealers across the country who pledge thanks, respect, low up-front pricing, transparency and a superior showroom experience for U.S. Veterans and Service families.

Vets-Cars allows dealers and customers to interact on a level not found in most dealerships.

Fino Saladini, Sales Manager at Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA prominently displays  hundreds of names on their Vets-Cars Wall of Honor. He seems to know the stories of each of them as if they were close friends – not just car buyers – and spoke of where they’ve been and what they’ve been through with respect and empathy.

We at Lindsay Auto honor our local military and Veterans every day of the year.

Alexandria, 3/1/12 –

With its dedication to exceeding its customers’ expectations, Lindsay Lexus has earned the “2011 Elite of Lexus” award.  Lindsay achieved this honor by receiving high scores for the sales, service and delivery of new and Certified Pre-Owned Lexus vehicles to its customers.

“At Lexus of Alexandria we are committed to ensuring that every customer has an outstanding experience,” said Jeff Warner, General Manager.  “Our associates are passionate about treating our customers well and this ‘Elite of Lexus’ award reflects their dedication.”

This is the 15th time Lindsay Lexus has earned “Elite of Lexus” status.

“We challenge our dealers to attain high levels of customer satisfaction in every area of their dealership to qualify for this award,” said Lexus Vice President of Sales, Tim Morrison.  “From the time Lexus began 23 years ago, our goal was to treat customers as though they were guests in our home. The people at Lindsay Lexus put this philosophy into action every day.”

Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria was established in 1989 and offers an outstanding line-up of quality vehicles, including the all-new 2013 GS Sport Sedan, the popular RX 350 crossover vehicle and the 43 mpg CT 200h, one of four hybrids in the Lexus family.

The past couple of years have been a time of change for the automotive industry as a whole. Mitsubishi was no exception to this, as it made a series of moves to organize their deck and move forward, allowing them to continue offering quality new Mitsubishi models in AlexandriaWashington, D.C. and around the globe. One decision means big news for the United States, as the Mitsubishi plans to move production of a very popular vehicle to America.

Production of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will migrate stateside to the Japanese automaker’s Illinois plant this summer. The posh SUV will swap places with the Mitsubishi Galant, as the sedan will head to another location to be manufactured. While on the surface, this looks to be a simple trade out from one model to another, Mitsubishi has a distinct reasoning for doing so.

Both the U.S. and international export editions of the Outlander Sport will be made in Illinois. Since the plant has gained such a favorable reputation for its work on the Galant, as well as the United States’ proximity to emerging Latin American markets, the move makes sense. Combine it with the fact that auto trades in South America and Russia are made using U.S. dollars, it makes the process much more organized, and access to new car markets easier.

At Lindsay Mitsubishi Alexandria, we think it’s great that the Japanese automaker is focusing more of its production efforts here in the United States. If you’d like to learn more about the Outlander Sport, Galant, or any other vehicle in the Mitsubishi lineup, contact us online anytime, or stop by our location at1605 Fern Street Alexandria, VA 22302, where we’d be happy to share more information, compare different models and arrange a test drive.
