Here at Lindsay Auto we love all of our customers. We also enjoy when our customers leave us testimonials of their experience with all six of our auto brands.  This is why we launched “Review Wednesday” on our Facebook and Twitter pages this month.  Now our customers can be encouraged to leave us their reviews and testimonials on websites such as Yelp.com and DealerRater.com.

Here are a few of the testimonials that our customers left for Lindsay Lexus on DealerRater.com after purchasing a vehicle  during the month of August 2012.

We were actually looking to lease a new Lexus from another dealer and were getting such slow and poor response that we went elsewhere. What a contrast in customer service! Sid listened closely to what was important to us and was impressive in his responsiveness, customer service and willingness to going the extra mile to provide “above and beyond” delivery! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the market and will go back again to work with him. All of the staff at Lindsey are much more responsive (this is our 2nd car from them) and professional than any car dealership we’ve been in…and we’ve bought a lot of cars in the Washington area in the last 25 years!

Fairfax Station, VA

We were looking to purchased a used Lexus at a fair price. We have visited several dealerships within in the DC/VA/MD area. One evening, we were searching for a car online. We come across the Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria website. We saw a beautiful GS300, we made them an offer online, the following day, Doug returned our call and we came down to Alexandria to view and test drive the car. Instantly, we fell in love with the car, we were able to negotiate a fair price. We love our new (used) car and it was very easy and pleasant buying experience. Our sales person, Doug was FANTANTIC!

Winchester, VA

I would have loved to receive better value on the vehicle I purchased; however, working with Doug Thomas and Barbara Parker[from Finance] was an overwhelmingly enjoyable experience. Lindsay Lexus knows how to take care of its customers.
Barbara Parker is probably the friendliest and realest person on the whole Lindsay Lexus team. I’m glad that I purchased my vehicle from Lindsay Lexus. I was not paid to say these words; although, I wouldn’t turn down any cash incentives for saying such kind words. hint, hint, wink, wink.

Arlington, VA

I have been a Lexus owner and Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria customer (both sales and service department) since 2001. Last weekend we purchased yet another vehicle from the Lindsay Lexus team. Thai Tran, our sales consultant, and Tim Robinson the General Sales Manager were absolutely incredible and rate an A+ in my book for customer service in closing the deal (which all of us know how painful that can be sometimes)! Anyway, I don’t think you can go wrong with Lindsay Lexus. From sales to service, they are number one in my book!

Vienna, VA

Frank was awesome. He went above and beyond to assist me in this purchase. I was under time constraints with my loan and Frank was able to get me the car that wanted without having the delay of waiting on the vehicle to be built at the factory. Thank you Frank for a rewarding experience.

Aquasco, MD

Doug was great! I would recommend him to anyone. Everyone at Lindsey Lexus was great! Thanks everyone for making me purchasing experience great. I’m really enjoying my IS250

Still, that isn’t stopping people from trying to get their hands on one, and some are going to extensive measures to make sure they will be one of the first to buy the exciting new Chevrolet model.

Believe it or not, a seller on eBay has put an ad up for people to bid on a chance to obtain one of the first models to roll off the production line. Baseline models of the 2014 Corvette comes equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that can churn out 440 horsepower, and is expected to have plenty of exterior and interior design changes that will usher in a new era for the iconic Chevy sports car.

So, if you really, really want a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette and are willing to go the extra mile, placing a bid might be something to consider. However, we recommend stopping into Lindsay Chevrolet, located at15605 Jefferson Davis Highway Woodbridge, VA 22191. Bike to the Beach DC is a 1-day, 104-mile charity ride starting in the District of Columbia and ending in Dewey Beach, Delaware to benefit Autism Speaks. This year’s race was held on August 3, 2012 and Lindsay Auto Group’s owner and several of our employees participated in this year’s charity ride.

Autism is the second most prevalent developmental disability in the world today. Its prevalence is global and without boundaries. It reaches far-and-wide, and close to home.

In the years between the first Bike to the Beach and when Bike to the Beach became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the three founding members joined the millions of other Americans affected by Autism: each had a cousin who was diagnosed with the neurological disorder.

The founding members saw how the diagnoses affected their families and transformed the lives of those around them. And each was inspired to make a difference in a fight to understand and treat a disorder that is more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined, for which the cause and cure are unknown.

The facts are stunning:

  • Every 20 minutes, a child is diagnosed with autism.
  • Autism now affects 1 in 88 children and 1 in 54 boys
  • An estimated 1.5 million individuals in the U.S. and tens of millions worldwide are affected by autism.
  • Autism is the second most prevalent developmental disability in the world today.
  • Autism receives less federal funding than any other disorder that affects children.

Since then, Bike to the Beach has been able to inspire hundreds of other affected and sympathetic supports to partake in our events, particularly our annual 100 mile charity bike rides from urban centers in DC, New York, and Boston to local beaches to raise awareness and funding for those affected by Autism.

Bike to the Beach has partnered with Autism Speaks, whose continued government and public advocacy and critical educational and medical research will continue to help the growing number of people who find themselves faced with this still largely misunderstood condition. One day we can and will crack the puzzle!

Learn more about Autism Speaks on their website.

At this point, we’re certain CADILLAC enthusiasts, and many others in the greater Alexandria have seen the new advertisements the American luxury automaker has released using the 2013 CADILLAC ATS at the forefront. The new ads take the premium sedan to some of the most challenging roads in the world, from China to Morocco to demonstrate the new vehicle’s performance and luxurious package all rolled into one.

Debuting the television spots during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics, we see the CADILLAC ATS take on these rigorous roads in a documentary-style in a series called “CADILLAC ATS vs. the World.” The forthcoming sedan drives on twisty roads unlike something we’ve ever seen before, traverses the desert, and in tunnels cut right into a cliff, and much more. It’s all an effort to show off the many features the CADILLAC ATS has to offer, with its purpose-built chassis and advanced technology and safety features.

That includes a high-performance suspension, rear wheel drive and many different engine options, giving drivers in the AlexandriaFairfax and Woodbridge areas a sports car option that also takes on the luxury elite as well.

Of course, with a high-end model comes high-end production to make the ads too. The commercials featuring this exciting new CADILLAC model are directed by Joe Berlinger, an Academy Award nominated documentary filmmaker, while the one behind the wheel of the CADILLAC ATS is champion racer Derek Hill, the son of 1961 Formula One champ Phil Hill.

To see the 2013 CADILLAC ATS in action in the Patagonia, Atlas Mountains, the Guoliang Tunnel, and Monaco Grand Prix along with the other places we’ve mentioned, be sure to look out for it on TV, or view some of the ads on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/Cadillac.

If you’re interested in learning more about the new CADILLAC ATS, and would like to arrange a test drive in the vehicle when it arrives, contact us here at Lindsay Cadillac of Alexandria, and we’d be more than happy to set one up. Located at 1525 Kenwood Avenue, we offer a wide selection of luxury vehicles like the 2013 CADILLAC CTS for drivers to choose from, and we’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.
