Start the summer by supporting a great cause all while enjoying a fun local baseball game.
Join us on Sunday, June 9th for the Potomac Nationals game to benefit Autism Speaks. The game starts at 1:05 pm and there is food and fun for everyone.
This is a special game day that will include custom jerseys for an in-game silent auction. After the game, players will remove and sign the jerseys and personally autograph each one. All money raised will be donated to Autism Speaks. Come out and contribute to an important cause and also take home a one-of-a-kind collectible keepsake.
Lindsay Auto Group’s commitment to improving awareness of Autism is strengthened by your efforts and our partnership with Autism Speaks. Please buy a ticket here to the game, join us in support of this special event, and bid on jerseys worn and signed by future Washington Nationals.
The game will be played at Pfitzner Stadium located at 7 County Complex Ct. in Woodbridge, VA.
Lindsay Automotive Group, a well-respected auto dealer in the D.C. metro area, will sponsor the June 9 Potomac Nationals game to benefit nonprofit organization Autism Speaks.
During the game against the Frederick Keys, custom jerseys worn and signed by Nationals players will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going directly toward autism advocacy and research efforts. After the game, players will remove and sign the jerseys and personally autograph each one. All money raised will be donated to Autism Speaks.
“We are thrilled to serve as a sponsor of the upcoming Potomac Nationals game and do our part to support autism research and advocacy efforts in our area,” said Michael Lindsay, president of Lindsay Automotive Group. “Autism is a developmental disorder that impacts thousands of families across our region. Businesses, organizations and individuals can all contribute to groups like Autism Speaks, which are doing some outstanding work toward eventually finding a cure.”
Autism Speaks is the world’s leading autism advocacy and research organization, funding exploration into the causes, treatment and prevention of autism – and eventually a cure. Founded in 2005, the organization also works to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and advocates for the needs of people with autism.
Lindsay Auto Group has been a mainstay in the community since 1963, when it opened its first location, Lindsay Cadillac of Alexandria. It now sells a wide range of both new and pre-owned vehicles, including Lexus, Ford, Chevrolet and Volkswagen. In fact, Lexus is a Tier 2 sponsor of Major League Baseball, and as such plays a role in the league’s support of Autism Speaks.
